Deputy traffic police of the country said that illegal speed is one of the main reasons of road accidents, adding some 60 Iranians die per day in the road accidents, of then near 30 percent are 18-29 years old which is the generative age.

The chancellor of technical and engineering faculty of Tehran Teachers Training University stated that domestically made vehicles have only half of the required standards, saying of the 51 standards specified for the vehicles by the Standards Organization, domestically made vehicles have about 25 standards which is a big factor in the accidents.

The representative of zanjan and tarom to Majlis said for his part that unfortunately   applied   sciences are not efficiently used in the country. Sa`dollah Nasiri Qidari added that the information dissemination is not carried out and public relations have not been developed in order to promote and use scientific achievements.

Addressing the second national coference on road,rail and air accidents,the the chancellor of the zanjan branch of the Islamic azad university.stated that more than 350 articles from across the country have so far been send to the secretariat of the conference.

The second national conferences on road rail and air accidents was held at the zanjan branch of the Islamic Azad University  . Provincial  and national officials ,university professors and students as well as captain Hooshang Shahbazi, the pilot who landed a Boeing air plaine successfully on emergency situation last week , attended the conferences.
