The history of the Department of Mathematics at AZU can be traced back to 1996, got its new name as the Department of Mathematics in 2011.
The department has 12 faculty with research interests in various area of mathematics.
The Department offers the selection of courses covering wide areas of mathematical sciences in each semester.
